Credit One Bank Employees Usher in The Holidays with the Las Vegas Great Santa Run

Las Vegas, NV (Dec. 07, 2024) – More than 40 employees from Credit One Bank donned Santa suits and participated in the 20th annual Great Santa Run on Saturday, December 7, in downtown Las Vegas.
The Credit One Bank team included employees from across the organization, taking part in both the 5K run and the 1-mile walk. The Bank has taken part in the event since 2018.
“It was my first time participating in the Great Santa Run and I had a really great time,” said Credit One Bank’s Teresita Vargas. “I walked the 5K along with a ton of other people, but there were a lot of runners too. There were so many Santas, but everything ran smoothly. It was a fun time for a good cause.”
The Las Vegas Great Santa Run has been a fixture in Las Vegas, ushering in the holiday season for 20 years. All proceeds from the event support local charity Opportunity Village in its mission to employ, empower, and serve people with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Nevada.
Saturday’s race featured more than 4,700 participants and 100 teams cruising the streets of downtown Las Vegas. Pre-race festivities began at the Downtown Las Vegas Events Center at 8:00 am. Emcees Jason Feinberg and Alyssa Deitch from FOX5 Vegas welcomed an assortment of high-profile guests including newly-elected Las Vegas Mayor Shelley Berkley. Singer Chase Brown, Carnell “Golden Pipes” Johnson, magician Adam London, Dangerous Curves, and the Australian Bee Gees provided the entertainment.
Both the 1-mile walk and the 5K kicked off at 10:00. Grand Marshal Mac King led the 5K while The Chippendales led the 1-mile walk. Post-race festivities featured live music from the Tony Marques Band and DJ Dinero.
